Decolonising Knowledge Systems in Jordan and the MENA Region

The concept of impact is evolving, and defining it within local contexts is crucial for fostering meaningful change. In the MENA region, a tailored approach is essential to ensure alignment with regional economic and social realities.

Expectation State, in partnership with Impact Jordan and funded by IDRC, is leading a research initiative to articulate what impact means within Jordan and the broader MENA region. The project aims to establish a shared definition of impact, document Impact Jordan’s operational journey, and integrate these insights into strategic frameworks.

By shaping a clear narrative and consensus around impact measurement, the initiative strengthens Impact Jordan’s role as a model for impact-driven economies in the region.
