Evaluating the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team’s Audacious Project

HOT is an international team dedicated to humanitarian action and community development through open mapping. It works to provide map data that revolutionises disaster management, reduces risks, and contributes to achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

HOT commissioned Expectation State to conduct a five-month mid-term evaluation study of its Audacious project. The study is being undertaken by a team of seven evaluators across Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

The mid-term evaluation study aims to help the HOT team assess, document, and understand the intended and unintended outcomes and impact they  have contributed to through their  work.
