Augustus is a versatile Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, Learning, and Adaptation (MERLA) expert with over 15 years of international development sector experience leading Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) functions across over forty countries across a diverse range of technical areas, including: private-sector development, democracy and governance, internet freedom, digital rights and safety, disinformation, inclusion, protection, food security and gender-based violence.

He has designed and led evaluation studies for numerous donors, including: World Bank, USAID, US State Department, GIZ, German Cooperation, USAID, USDOL, FCDO, EU, ECHO, US Department of Education and Cultural Affairs (ECA), US Department of Conflict and Stabilization Operations (CSO), Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Government of Indonesia, Government of Japan, and Government of Nigeria, Commonwealth Secretariat, UNDP, UNMC, UNICEF, AWDF, Kotex, BMZ, Global Fund, Qatar Foundation and the Ford Foundation.
