Prior to joining Expectation State, Chongo served as a Project Assistant at Amref Health Africa, where he was responsible for the operational coordination of large-scale health initiatives and digital learning systems.

In this role, he managed complex project schedules, procurement processes, and budgets, ensuring seamless delivery across multiple workstreams. Chongo was instrumental in supervising field data collection teams and coordinating essential logistics—including community entry and interview scheduling—while maintaining rigorous documentation and data verification standards. His experience also includes facilitating stakeholder meetings and workshops, building the local relationships necessary for successful project implementation.

Chongo holds a BSc in Public Health from the University of Lusaka and a specialised certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation. He is committed to applying his background in project coordination and data quality to help build more inclusive and resilient economies.
